👋 G’day everyone, Archie here.
Today we’re looking at some of Clive Palmer’s big spends and one of the tallest members of Parliament’s social media.
Let’s crack on with it 🗞️.

We’re planning that when it’s completed in 2016 it’ll sail from Shanghai to London
🗣️ Why did he say that?
After buying the Hyatt resort at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast in 2011, mining billionaire Clive Palmer filled it with animatronic dinosaurs and claimed the title of world’s largest dinosaur park.
Around the same time, he announced plans to build Titanic II, a replica of the original liner, with a maiden voyage planned for 2016. It still hasn’t sailed, but Palmer has relaunched the plan, now with a 2027 target.

Social review 📲
Federal Hunter MP Dan Repacholi, one of parliament’s most prolific posters, is the Special Envoy for Men’s Health.
Repacholi uses his platforms to spruik local goings-on in his patch north of Sydney while also advocating for men to get both their physical and mental health in shape.
He scores points for that. But then, he also sat at a Sportbet-sponsored table at the Parliamentary Midwinter ball. We can’t officially deduct points for this, as he didn’t post about the association with Sportsbet on his socials, but, you know …
He scores six out of 10. Without the small amount of AI-generated content we could have been looking at a solid seven.
