As promised, I'm diving back into the energy conference I went to last week.

🗣️ Why did he say that?
Last week I was at News Corp’s Energy Nation Forum at the Sofitel in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.
After looking back at what was said, I noted that when it came to energy, the federal and state Coalition parties didn’t seem to be reading from the same script.
Federal Liberal Dan Tehan wants nuclear power and more coal and gas.
But Queensland Premier David Crisafulli, said without both sides of federal parliament on board, no one will invest in nuclear.

In 1960, a passenger on a TAA flight from Sydney to Brisbane pulled out a sawn-off rifle and a jelly-explosive bomb, demanding to be flown to Singapore.
A quick-thinking first officer punched him and tore the wires from his hand seconds before detonation.
