⏱️This edition of the National Account’s newsletter is a four-minute read.

👋 G’day everyone, Archie here.

I’m recovered from the long weekend and now ready to bring you your news. Today, I’ve got some pretty interesting insight into all of this One Nation hoopla.

Hastie irritates fans 🫵

Yesterday, I also did a quick rundown on why Liberal leadership hopeful Andrew Hastie is having to learn to balance his diehard supporters with more moderate factions of the party.

When Hastie eventually voted in favour of the federal government’s hate speech laws, he ruffled some feathers, evidenced by the swift change in tone from people commenting on the Andrew Hastie for PM Facebook.

Thanks for catching up with me. I hope you enjoyed this issue, and I’d love to hear your thoughts. Just reply to this email and I’ll be on the other side 👋.

I’ll be back on Friday.

Cheers, Archie
