Queensland has once again rejected a proposal to force data centres to pay for the construction of renewable energy they use.

The cost of Neil the Seal 🦭
In case you missed the phenomenon that is the Neil the Southern Elephant Seal, a regular visitor of the Tasmanian coast, he regularly arrives in our most southern state and proceeds to destroy local infrastructure, sleep on driveways and occasionally crush cars.
We asked a local council and Tassie’s state environment department how much Neil's visits actually cost.
Between the two, it's over $70,000 and that's before staff wages, police time, or the last bill.
