Australia already has nuclear waste from hospitals, universities and the Lucas Heights research reactor in Sydney.

In the 2050s it will have more — from AUKUS submarine reactor cores.

The problem? We don’t have any permanent solution for our nuclear waste.

So where are we going to put it?
