Australia banned Grand Theft Auto 3 in 2001, revoked San Andreas's rating over a hidden sex scene and only allowed uncensored versions of both after R18 classification was introduced in 2012.

GTA 6 is due out later this year. Rockstar has already voluntarily removed gambling mini-games from GTA Online ahead of the release, likely in anticipation of Australia's strict classification rules around drug use and gambling in games.
